For each its place

For each its place

For as long as I can remember I was one of those people, who just cannot leave work at work. ALLAH knows I tried but it never worked for me. Best case scenario would be that I would think about work and receive untimely calls, worst scenario would be actually taking work home even after working for 12 hours or more.

We all know we should not do that, and that its not healthy but I could never do it. Until unexpectedly yesterday after work I was in the car with hubby and he was asking me about a particular issue at work and how I handled it, I was talking about it and all of a sudden the magical words came out, I left the office I want to forget about work.

I can't tell you how happy hubby was, and how surprised I was ! I guess after five years of work I'm finally changing my attitude, don't get me wrong I love my work and I'm the best at it, but I still would like to live my life away from it.

That's a very hard step to take! As for me I can never be committed to a daily job for such amount of hours...
It wont be easy at the beginning but you'll do great:)
Good luck with the new decision!

Thanks, I hope it lasts : ) o 3o2balak

I never thought I will be able to do it.

If you just started working its normal. but if this lasts for more than 6 months to a year, then you might have a problem, but that does not necessarily mean it has to take this long to solve it.

Thanks, I hope it lasts. and great for you that you don't even have to worry about this, especially with the baby on the way.

Allah yekamelek b3a2lek 7abebti :)
Maybe if i had realized that over doing it would eventually make them ask for more and more and more and i would do it anyway get me eventually where i would feel exploited and frustrated to the extent that i left the whole thing and was willing to start over some place else all over again, i would have slowed my self down and balanced it.
Anyway, it's always better to learn than not to learn at all.
Wish u all the best precious tamara :)
